Let’s level the playing field.
When you’re trying to embark on a career in the music industry, you’re immediately expected to name-drop connections to gain a foot in the door.
If you’ve ever been spoken over, felt unsafe, been patronised or missed out on a work opportunity (just to watch a less qualified, overly confident man breeze into the role), you know exactly what we’re talking about. We’re bored, tired and angry.
That’s where The Name Game comes in.
A supportive network for female, non-binary & trans artists, creatives and professionals in the music industry.

MEET DAISY
TNG founder, Daisy Carberry
From starting a career in songwriting to working at a major label, I’ve seen the music industry through different lenses: as a fan, as a writer and as an artist, and now in a role on the business side.
I’ve been met with barriers at every stage of my career– and it’s as a direct result of my gender. Working with incredible emerging female, non-binary & trans artists has just made me feel even more angry, and determined to change the way the industry is set up.
